Scouts is a global, non-political, philanthropic youth movement. This organization was founded in 1920 by Lord Baden Powell. Its mission is to shape Scouts into exemplary ideal individuals. On June 1, 1974, the World Scout Association recognized the “Bangladesh Boy Scout Association” as the 105th member of the World Scout Conference. During the 5th Council meeting on June 18, 1978, the association’s name was changed to “Bangladesh Scout”. The Scout program at Adamjee Cantonment Public School began in 1995 and continues to this day.
